Redefining What it Means to Be 'Infertile'Jun 04, 2021
According to the CDC, 1 in 8 couples have trouble getting pregnant or staying pregnant.
The American Society of Reproductive Medicine says that, “infertility is a disease defined by the failure to achieve a successful pregnancy after 12 months of trying.”
What if these women weren’t actually ‘infertile’ at all?
What if, because of the stressful physical and mental environment, her body is just saying ‘no’ right now until she’s in the right environment??
Wouldn’t that mean that the ENVIRONMENT is infertile and not her BODY?
What would this shift in perspective do for your fertility?
I’ll give you a little hint...
IT WOULD CHANGE THE GAME FOR YOU, MAMA
You’re body is not broken, it is not infertile...
The environment is broken, what we’ve been taught about health and fertility is broken...
Instead, I propose a NEW way of approaching fertility.
Here’s what’s IN and here’s what’s OUT:
IN with the in-depth, root cause evaluation and holistic healing approach to transcend ‘infertility’ and be empowered in the journey to motherhood
OUT with the one-size fits all, shot-gun approach that focuses way too much on just getting pregnancy and not enough on the health of mama or baby.
Why is this important?
Because if you have to force the body to GET pregnant, you’ll have to force the body to STAY pregnant. Just because you’re struggling to conceive for 12 months or more does NOT mean you’re ‘infertile.’
The fact is, we’ve not been empowered to take charge of our fertility in the way that our body needs us, too.
Let me explain...
If fertility is about an integrated mind-body-soul...
And we’re stressing about work, been dieting for 5+ years, suppressing our fears, hiding our vulnerabilities, and disconnecting from friends and family...
No amount of fertility treatments is going to balance those imbalances.
Only a holistic approach to create boundaries at work, nourish the body with nutrients, feeling the full spectrum of emotions, and connecting on the deepest level by sharing our vulnerabilities...
Which are just some of the essential ingredients I help you to cultivate a FERTILE body.
